When Prashant Kumar Singh, the visionary behind GS Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., steps into his offices in Lucknow or now Dubai, he brings with him more than just a portfolio of successful architectural ventures—he carries a legacy shaped by family values, global ambition, and a quiet commitment to purpose.
Born into a well-educated and affluent family in Pachari, Bhagatpur, Atraulia, near Azamgarh, Prashant didn’t have to fight poverty to build his dreams—but he did choose to build them with passion and perseverance. Inspired by the grace and discipline of his father, Sri Shobhnath Singh, he found his calling early.
Q: What drew you to architecture?
Prashant: “My father played a huge role. He saw something in me and encouraged me to follow architecture.”
A Name That Holds Meaning
The company he founded over 14 years ago—GS Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.—bears the legacy in its name. “GS” stands for Globalzone Sanitary, a tribute to his father’s early business roots in sanitaryware.
“I wanted to keep the word ‘sanitary’ because it represents both my father’s journey and the values of cleanliness, clarity, and structure that I believe in,” Prashant says.
Alongside GS Infrastructure, he also founded ProDesign, a Design Engineering Consultancy company that has been delivering architectural and engineering excellence for over a decade.
Making an Impact Across Continents
His work soon expanded beyond India’s borders. Ethiopia, Nigeria in Africa became the next chapters in his journey, where GS Infrastructure contributed to urban development, housing projects, and institutional design.
Q: Why Africa before the UAE?
Prashant: “Africa was a beautiful challenge. There’s creativity, demand, and room to make a real difference. We were not just building—we were transforming.”
Now, Dubai and the UAE represent the next frontier.
Q: Why expand to the UAE?
Prashant: “Dubai’s energy is unmatched. The architecture here is futuristic yet rooted in culture. It inspires me. I’m here not just to grow, but to contribute meaningfully to the UAE’s vision.”

Beyond Architecture: The Man Behind the Vision
While his work speaks volumes, Prashant’s character shines brightest in the quieter moments.
He’s a family man, deeply committed to spending time with his loved ones—no matter how packed the calendar gets.
He finds peace and focus through his love for chess, a game he turns to in his free time.
“It’s more than just a hobby—it helps me stay sharp, think ahead, and stay calm under pressure,” he says. And while many leaders are vocal about their social contributions, Prashant chooses a different path. His charity work—supporting education, healthcare, and community development—is done quietly, without announcements or fanfare.
Advice for Young Dreamers
For upcoming architects, entrepreneurs, and dreamers, Prashant offers wisdom that stems from experience:
“You don’t need to have a struggle story to build something meaningful. What matters is how grounded you are, how hard you’re willing to work, and how willing you are to learn. Your legacy starts the day you take your first step.”
Building a Global Legacy
With a solid foundation in India, impactful work in Africa, and new ambitions in the UAE, Prashant Kumar Singh is shaping skylines—and lives—around the world.
But he does it all without noise. No ego. No spotlight. Just quiet progress and a strong belief that design, when done with integrity, can change the world.
“The future isn’t just about buildings. It’s about better lives, better spaces, and better ideas. That’s the kind of legacy I want to leave behind,” he concludes.
